Executives from clubs across Europe will meet over the coming weeks as part of a series of ECA Platform for Executive Consultation (PEC) Meetings, which are designed to update members and gather feedback on key items relating to the future of European club football.

PEC meetings were introduced in 2017 in order to further improve and strengthen communication between members and the ECA Executive Board, and have led to a positive enhancement of member involvement in ECA’s decision-making process.

The main topics that will be addressed at this series of PEC Meetings are as follows:

  • UEFA Club Competitions post 2024
  • UEFA Club Competitions 2021-24 Commercial Strategy
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League 2021-24
  • FIFA Transfer Matters
  • ECA Club Intelligence Survey

Ahead of the meetings, ECA General Secretary Michele Centenaro stated:

“As the professional club game continues to develop at a rapid pace, we must engage regularly with our members in order to shape the future of European club football in their interests. This series of PEC Meetings will help us to gain greater insight into how we can enhance the game as we look to ensure its continued development.”

The meetings will take place at the following dates and locations:

  • 7 October: London, United Kingdom
  • 10 October: Bordeaux, France
  • 15 October: Rome, Italy
  • 16 October: Berlin, Germany
  • 29 October: Riga, Latvia
