Following consultation with ECA, UEFA has agreed to set a cap on ticket prices for away fans in the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, starting in the 2019/20 season.

This decision will ensure that away fans are charged a maximum of €70 in the UEFA Champions League and €45 in the UEFA Europa League for match tickets, leading to a reduction in prices for many fans.

Given the diverse make up of clubs and the lack of harmonisation of ticketing policies across the competitions, achieving this outcome has required detailed and lengthy discussions. ECA believes that this decision is a balanced and positive one, which recognises the important role fans play in the success of these competitions.
