The ECA Executive Board will meet for the final time in its current cycle at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC, the UEFA Champions League title holder, this coming Friday. The Board will address a number of topics relating to its membership and governance for the new cycle, the future development of the professional game and ECA's ongoing engagement with governing bodies and stakeholders.

The meeting will address, amongst other topics:

  • An update on the ongoing consultation process amongst ECA membership regarding the future of UEFA Club Competitions post 2024
  • ECA membership for the upcoming cycle 2019-23 
  • The appointment of ECA representatives to UEFA bodies for the 2019-23 cycle 

 A new ECA Executive Board will be elected for the 2019-23 cycle on 10 September 2019, during the upcoming ECA General Assembly to be held in Geneva.
