ECA will host the inaugural ECA Women's Football Summit on 26 and& 27 June 2023 in London. The occasion will mark a significant milestone for women's club football in Europe and is set to become a landmark event within the industry. 

As the first-ever gathering of its kind, the ECA Women's Football Summit will bring together prominent figures, experts, stakeholders and media from across the women's football community to discuss and shape the future of the game. The event will serve as a platform to celebrate the remarkable achievements in the women's game to date, while simultaneously charting a progressive course for continued growth and prosperity through sharing best practice and fostering stronger partnerships among industry stakeholders. 

Charlie Marshall, ECA CEO, spoke of the significance of the Women's Football Summit, stating:"This unprecedented event showcases ECA's unwavering commitment to the development of women's football and our vision of empowering women within the game. We are delighted to convene key stakeholders to collectively shape the future of women's club football and drive positive change across the industry.

At the Summit, ECA will celebrate two years of remarkable achievements since the launch of Be A Changemaker – the association’s first ever dedicated women’s football strategy. 

Claire Bloomfield, ECA Head of Women's Football, emphasised the critical role the Be A Changemaker strategy has had on developing the game in the past two years. "ECA has made achieved remarkable progress milestones through the Be A Changemaker strategy, promoting the professionalisation of women's club football in Europe through progressive initiatives and strategic partnerships with stakeholders across the industry. The ECA Women's Football Summit is a chance to celebrate these achievements andwill lay the groundwork for future projects to advance the women’s game in Europe advancements as we seek to propel further the rapid growth of women's football and align the professional club landscape with that of the men's game," she said. 

The event will look to tackle some of the crucial challenges facing women’s football clubs, hearing from the game’s most visionary leaders. 

Kicking off with an opening address from ECA Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the Summit boasts an all-star line-up. Joining him are some of the games’ most visionary leaders as well as representatives from global stakeholders, including FIFA and UEFA. In addition, esteemed football broadcaster and commentator Jacqui Oatley will host the two-day event, creating an engaging atmosphere for transformative conversations. 

The inaugural ECA Women's Football Summit is a pivotal moment that will leave an indelible mark on the trajectory of women's club football in Europe, shaping a prosperous and vibrant future for the sportgame.
