ECA News

At the start of May, two meetings were held with ECA member clubs in Montenegro and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). On the 1st and 2nd of May, meetings were held with Montenegrin ECA Member Clubs in Podgorica. ECA Membership Services Manager Olivier Jarosz met representatives from FK Buducnost Podgorica and FK Zeta.

On the 8th of May, Olivier Jarosz met with FYROM ECA Member clubs FK Rabotnicki and FK Vardar in Skopje. Following the collapse of Yugoslavia, Balkan clubs have faced several logistical difficulties but remain more focused than ever on the development of grassroots.

Similarly to the ECA Regional Meetings, these country-specific visits allow ECA to better understand particular problems and issues that are unique to the domestic league. They also enable ECA to be a more effective presence for clubs both on a domestic and European level.
