Today, ECA organised its first ECA Regional Meeting of 2013 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting took place at the Vasil Levski National Stadium and was attended by 21 people representing 16 ECA Member clubs from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia and Serbia.
Several important topics were discussed including supranational competitions, the future format of European club competitions for 2015-18 as well as the recent EU Study on the Economic and Legal Aspects of Transfers of Players. The ECA Administration also took the opportunity to update and inform the participants about several new ECA services offered and to gather feedback on ECA.
The next Regional Meetings in this series are scheduled to take place in Belfast on the 9th of April and in Reykjavik on the 16th and 17th of April.
