Biography
Oliver Mintzlaff started his career as a track & field athlete.
In 2000, he moved into the business side of the industry to become Head of Sports Marketing at
Puma.
He worked for the agency Ferber Marketing GmbH as Shareholder and Managing Director, starting in
2008, combining his athlete and commercial experiences.
In 2014, Oliver Mintzlaff joined RB Leipzig as CEO. In his time, he developed the club from a 3rd division
team to an established Champions League participant and 2020 semi-finalist.
Nationally RB Leipzig won the German Cup in 2022 and 2023, as well as the German Supercup in
2024.
He became CEO Corporate Projects and Investments of Red Bull and is responsible for projects such
as Oracle Red Bull Racing, Scuderia AlphaTauri and the America´s Cup Team Alinghi Red Bull Racing
but continues to shape RB Leipzig as Chairman of the Supervisory Board in 2022.
Oliver Mintzlaff was elected to the ECA Board in 2023.
