ECA Awards

The ECA Awards were first introduced in 2010 with the aim of rewarding outstanding club performances, encouraging best practice and highlighting successful club management. The winners of the ECA Awards are announced every year at the occasion of the September ECA General Assembly.

ECA created four different award categories:

The European Club of the Year Award is awarded to a member club, which has achieved outstanding results during a given season on European level but also in domestic competitions.

BEST SPORTING PROGRESS

The Best Progress Award is awarded to a member club, which has shown great progress in European Club Competition in a given season compared to its performance in the previous season.

The Best CSR Programme Award is awarded to a member club with a club-driven CSR project, which...

... aims at supporting/helping the local community by facing/tackling specific regional problems/issues;
... is clearly more a project than an event, showing continuity and sustainability;
... shows positive results benefiting the local community where the club has its roots;
... can serve as best practice for all ECA Member Clubs (regardless of club size and CSR budget).
