The Finance Working Group met in Geneva on 22 November for its inaugural meeting of the new cycle, hence successfully closing this first series of working group meetings.

Chaired by ECA Executive Board Member Jean-Michel Aulas, the Finance Working Group is composed of 20 representatives from ECA Member Clubs, and notably focuses on UEFA Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations and Club Competition Distribution.

The meeting, also attended by FFP Panel Members, allowed UEFA's Head of Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Andrea Traverso to provide an update on the work undertaken by the UEFA CFCB. Additionally, discussions on new CFCB procedural rules and on a consultation process aimed at amending the CL/FFP regulations took place. Club benefits for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and Solidarity Payments were also scrutinised during the session.

The topics in question will be further discussed during the next Working Group meeting, to take place in March 2014, on the occasion of the ECA General Assembly.
