The European Club Association welcomes FIFA's announcement today to create a working group involving all major football stakeholders to discuss the date of the Qatar World Cup 2022.
Commenting on the announcement, ECA Chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said:
"I welcome the decision of FIFA and Sepp Blatter to take the time to conduct a consultation process involving all stakeholders concerned and discuss the date for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar."
