The members of the ECA Legal Advisory Panel met at the Emirates Stadium last Friday 13 December to discuss trending legal topics.
Chaired by Dr. Michael Gerlinger, the legal experts from the ECA member clubs debated the current state of play of Article 17 following which they were provided updates relating amongst others to the newly approved procedural rules of the UEFA Club Financial Control Body and the FIFA rules on Intermediaries. Discussions also proved stimulating with regards to the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations during which many members voiced their anxieties.
At the end of the meeting, the members received practical input on how CAS Ordinary awards can be "enforced" through the FIFA system.
